Went to the art museum for the first time in a while.  Let's have a look at the day's art.  This is Giacomo Balla's work of 1914.  One is "pessimism" and the other is "optimism."  Can you tell which is which?  The exhibition shows the one on top is an expression of pessimism, but maybe interpretation in art is just up to you!

ペシミズムとオプティミズム 

久しぶりに美術館へ。ちょっと作品をのぞいてみましょう。これはジャコモ・バッラの1914年の作品。ひとつは「ペシミズム（悲観）」もう一つは「オプティミズム（楽観）」を表しています。どっちがどっちか分かりますか？

作品には、上の絵が「ペシミズム」と言うことになっていました。でも、アートの世界では解釈は自分次第でいいのです。
