It's been raining all day long today.  Mother's first mid-August memorial service day, called Bon in Japan.

On her funeral day, on her 49th-day memorial service day, and today

 always it rains.

But I like this rain, which reminds me that she was a worrywart.  

初盆

今日は一日中雨です。母の初盆の日。

雨の一日。

お葬式、四十九日の法要、初盆のお墓参り………供養の日はいつも雨です。

心配性だった母らしくって、憎めない雨です。
